    Due to ongoing concerns of safety and the scattering of litter, we are asking all of our customers to please bag your trash to the best of your ability.  

     When residents overfill containers or fail to bag their garbage, the frequent result is that some items escape when the trucks pick up the garbage. For safety reasons, our collection crews are not required to pick up spills or litter resulting from unbagged garbage, overfilled containers, or scavenging.  

     Bagging your garbage reduces spillage and windblown litter, eliminates odors and insects, discourages animals from scavenging containers, and better protects our employees from harmful substances. Securely bag all household trash, as well as loose and dusty materials such as ashes, kitty litter, sawdust, animal waste, dryer lint, and vacuum waste.
